Young Women in Science

As part of our Outreach and Education program, we are working with education groups to spread the word on the beauty of our watershed and explore ways to understand and protect it.

On 23 July 2001 a group from the Monterey Bay Aquarium, Young Women in Science, made a fieldtrip to our watershed. They looked for steelhead, studied insects in the creek, collected some samples and also did a small restoration project by removing all of the Cape Ivy in a section of the creek bank.

What a great day. A good time was had by all.
