The Garrapata Creek Watershed Council invites you to a GENERAL meeting
The Garrapata Creek Watershed
Council Planning Group invites anyone interested in the Garrapata Creek watershed to
attend a general meeting of the Council at the Main House of the Glen Deven Ranch
(37102 Garrapatos Road), hosted by the Big Sur Land Trust on Saturday May 11th
2002. Arrive any time after 1:30 to have time to converse with your neighbors. The meeting will begin promptly at 2:00. The
meeting will be followed by a potluck meal.
The proposed agenda for this meeting
is as follows:
1:30 – 2:00 Gathering
and conversation
2:00 - 2:15 Introductions – All assembled
2:15
– 2:45 The Big Sur Land Trust - BSLT staff
will give a presentation on the Mudd Property (Glen Deven Ranch), which was willed to the
BSLT by Seeley and Virginia Mudd
2:45 – 3:30 Mid-Coast Fire Brigade - Chief Cheryl
Goetz will give a talk on the upcoming Fire Season and Disaster Preparedness
3:30 – 6:00 Food, drink and more conversation!
DIRECTIONS:
Take Palo Colorado Road to
Garrapatos Follow Garrapatos Road to the top of the ridge. Parking is limited to 15 cars
on the ranch so please car pool or plan to park off site. Please don’t block the
entrance; the Fire Brigade keeps their emergency equipment at the ranch.
